Eileen Clegg

Institute for the Future's Eileen Clegg kicked off the session by relating the history of the Map of Corporate and Executive Education. The map is an artifact of many sessions in the United States and Europe.

Streaming audio: Here is a recording of the November session.

The map is a living document. Following in the steps of many people before us, we added ideas and concepts as Kevin Wheeler walked us through the map.

Kevin Wheeler, president of Global Learning Resources.

Eileen captured these suggestions on PostIt notes throughout the session.

I thought I had a good grasp of the history of corporate and executive education, but I learned a lot, both from Kevin's presentation and from responses from the members in the room.
Note: If anyone took notes they'd be willing to share, please send them to me and I'll post them here.

Sherrin BennettSherrin Bennett, president of Interactive Learning Systems, is well-known to eLearning Forum members, having backed up many of our meetings this year with her superb concept maps. Sherrin gave us a glimpse of what to expect next year, when we have an entire session devoted to visual learning.

Jay wags his finger at the crowd, saying that the Institute's mural is a model to adopt in learning. It's is a continuing learning experience, always evolving and becoming richer.

Everyone here should take a buddy, go to Sherrin's concept maps and reflect on what they see.

Also, we need not end the discussion when we break for sandwiches and networking. Let's continue to discuss things online.
